Overview

Situated in the ski resort of Auli, Joshimath, the Devi Darshan Lodge, as its name suggests, offers a stunning view of the Nanda Devi massif. At an elevation of 7816m, Nanda Devi is Indias second highest peak. The view of the peak at different times of the day is an experience in itself Devi Darshan offers a multitude of activities that will enable you to truly experience the wonder of the high Himalayas, from bird watching around the campus through tailor made hikes and treks, to skiing holidays. The accommodation includes six twin bed rooms and two rooms with four beds, ideal for family holidays. All meals are included. There is a 24 hour tea and coffee service at the tea bar. There is also a small library and a collection of games for children, and a community shop stocked with woolen products made by the local women. Devi Darshan Lodge is run by the highly experienced and passionate staff of Mountain Shepherds, who in addition to expertise in the hospitality industry are also qualified mountaineers.
